Well-bred sort who looked a work-in-progress in a couple of AW novice events at up to 9.5f late last year. Type his yard will do well with in staying handicaps in due course.
|
100,000 gns yearling, Sea The Stars colt. Half-brother to 1¼m winner Bruyere. Modest form in pair of AW minor events in recent weeks and best watched for time being.
|
Much better on turf when second in Goodwood events to end last season and remains with potential up in trip this year. Lots to like.
|
Thrice-raced maiden who ran best race when beaten just over 3 lengths in Kempton maiden (12f) in February. Well beaten since (saddle slipped) but handicaps will be more his bag.
|
Golden Horn colt who has shaped encouragingly on both starts to date, staying on to finish close third at Wolverhampton (12.2f) in March. In excellent hands and expected to be firmly in the mix.

Forecasts
Trawlerman (10/11), King Frankel (11/8), Alnajeeb (7/1), Home And Dry (40/1), Morani Kali (100/1)
This may well become a match between KING FRANKEL and Trawlerman. Both have shown a good deal of promise, the former narrowly preferred to come out on top having gone well twice on turf at Goodwood last year.
- KING FRANKEL (IRE)
- TRAWLERMAN (IRE)
- ALNAJEEB (IRE)
