Falberto⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: Fergus Gregory⁽³⁾| T: J Coulson| OR: 111| D

10/11

Proving consistent at a low level this season, matching previous best when landing a Stratford seller (18.6f) on yard debut last month. Straightforward individual who looks the one to beat.

Age: 11| Weight: 11-1| J: James Best| T: L Hurley| OR: 73

9/1

Flat winner who returned to form when fifth in a 17-runner Taunton handicap (19f) last month, that despite operating from 8 lb out of the weights. No easy task again on these terms.

Form: 3456-85

Chetomian⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: D A Jacob| T: P Gundry

Last of 4 finishers sole completed start in points and little to get excited about in pair of maiden hurdles in recent weeks.

Good Bye^v⁷

6/4

Landed jumpers bumper in February and best effort yet over hurdles when third at Plumpton (15.9f) on penultimate start. Disappointing at Fakenham next time but not ruled out dropped in grade. Visored.

100/1

Fair maiden on Flat for Marcus Tregoning but no impact in 4 runs over hurdles.

Form: 6-009

Trio D'ecajeul^p1⁵⁰

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: Harry Reed| T: M Blake

22/1

Pulled up first 2 starts in novice hurdles and essentially fared no better when tailed off some way out at Warwick (21f) in February. Cheekpieces now reached for.

Form: 1/PP0

Forecasts

Falberto (10/11), Good Bye (6/4), Candyman Can (9/1), Jupiter Rising (20/1), Trio D'ecajeul (22/1), Chetomian (40/1), Serjeant Painter (100/1)

FALBERTO is proving a reliable operator this season, successful in a Ludlow novice claimer in December and going in again in a seller at Stratford recently (on debut for new yard). He looks the solid option and can concede weight all round. Good Bye, under Harry Skelton, can provide the chief threat.
