Placed in points and best of 4 runs over hurdles for Nigel Twiston-Davies when (visored) eighth in 23f handicap at Market Rasen. Showed nothing on chase bow for Ryan Potter and has since moved yards.
Improved when second at Wincanton on return. Poor effort tried in cheekpieces at Exeter (21.6f, heavy) since, and looked none too keen when well beaten at Taunton 11 days ago. Makes chase debut.
Fair winner who didn't shape badly on return/chase debut in September but has disappointed since, including back hurdling.
Runner-up in a bumper in 2019. Not a great deal to shout about in trio of maiden/novice hurdles spread over 13 months but longer trip, tongue tie and switch to handicaps/chasing different factors.
Made a creditable start over fences and finally got off the mark in her career when landing a weak race under a change of claimer at Fakenham back in January. Not so good since so must bounce back.
Best effort yet when fourth in a 17-runner 2½m Wincanton handicap in December. Not seen to best effect when eighth at Taunton in February and needs to up her game on chase debut to feature.
Unreliable individual who ran badly when eighth of 14 in handicap chase at Warwick (16.2f, heavy) 93 days ago. Hard to warm to.
Winning pointer who has yet to better poor form in a trio of novice/maiden hurdles spread over 14 months. Possibly failed to stay the markedly longer trip last time so one to keep an eye on here.
Modest Flat maiden and has looked very limited so far over hurdles. Hard to enthuse about sent chasing.
Perfect start for new yard when shedding maiden tag at Fontwell (17.7f) in August. Largely creditable efforts in defeat since and he rates a leading player from this sort of mark.
Fair maiden on the Flat in France. Confirmed his Exeter second when runner-up at Market Rasen 10 days ago so needs considering switched back over the larger obstacles.
Multiple-point winner. Little impact 5 starts under Rules, finishing a remote third in first-time blinkers at Plumpton (25.7f, good to soft, 14/1) 19 days ago. Not dismissed.
Yet to show any form in three 2m runs over hurdles and a pair of handicap chases, so hard to make a case for.

Forecasts
Auld Sod (10/3), Old Harry Rocks (5/1), Amanofhisword (5/1), Kapitaliste (13/2), Who Shot Jr (11/1), Kingsmill Gin (12/1), Krujers Girl (14/1), Falethao D'ana (14/1), West Lake (14/1), Et Apres Thou (18/1), Treacys Jim (25/1), French Kiss (50/1), Family Man (200/1)
An unappealing contest with many arriving out of form. However, AULD SOD creeped down in the weights before the turn of the year and he's taken to strike after a break having gone well fresh in the past. Kapitaliste more or less confirmed his Exeter form when runner-up last time so he gets the nod to chase the selection home, with West Lake and Who Shot Jr completing the shortlist.
- AULD SOD (IRE)
- KAPITALISTE (FR)
- WEST LAKE (FR)
