Progressive hurdler who scored at Exeter and Sandown before excellent runner-up in Kempton handicap (3m) in December. Effective at this shorter trip too. Not taken lightly after her break.
Landed this contest in 2019 but off the track since pulled up in 2m4f handicap (40/1) at Sandown in December. Needs a big step forward.
Dual scorer around 2m at Carlisle and Kelso for her new yard before Christmas. Below par off raised mark on her last two starts and needs fair bit more here.
Yet to win this season but in very good form in handicaps until only sixth of 8 at Kempton (3m) in December. Sort to bounce back after a break.
Landed 2m2f Exeter handicap in January who posted another good effort when third at Plumpton (2m4f) 19 days ago. Much respected off 1 lb lower mark.
Dual 2m5f handicap winner last season but not in anything like the same form at Doncaster in January and fell early at Ludlow last time. Has a bit to prove now.
Low-mileage hurdler. As good as ever after a wind op this term, second over 2m1f at Fontwell 14 days ago when gave the strong impression a step up in trip would suit. In the mix.
Scored convincingly on her hurdle bow at Fakenham (2m) and excellent second of 8 in 2m4f Plumpton handicap last time. Strong traveller who could prove ideally suited by this shorter trip. Considered.
In the frame on all her four runs over hurdles, good third of 13 in 2m4f handicap at Market Rasen (14/1) 41 days ago. Not taken lightly off only 1 lb higher with that form working out well.
Winner of 2m5f Cartmel handicap chase in August. Another excellent effort when runner-up at Perth a month later, but well held back over hurdles the last twice. Hard to fancy.
Three-time hurdle winner for Tom Symonds who has got back on track after wind op for her new yard, very good second of 14 at Wetherby last time. Remains on a good mark, so sure to go well again.
Fair winning hurdler in Ireland but she hasn't fired in 5 starts for her new yard, tried in first-time cheekpieces last time. Mark is on the slide but she still needs to show more. Tongue tied now.

Forecasts
Sexy Lot (9/4), Emmpressive Lady (7/2), Gazette Bourgeoise (6/1), Midnight Ginger (13/2), Brown Bullet (10/1), Hotter Than Hell (12/1), Shantung (12/1), Llantara (14/1), Misty Bloom (14/1), A Little Chaos (18/1), Ruby Yeats (22/1), Ocean Voyage (25/1), Schiaparannie (40/1), Kentford Heiress (50/1), River Icon (80/1)
A very open handicap so at the likely odds it could be worth siding with LLANTARA, who arrives in excellent nick for her new yard after a wind op and can capitalise on a handy-looking mark. Gazette Bourgeoise is another at the top of her game and she heads the list of dangers, although a solid case can be made for the progressive Sexy Lot and Midnight Ginger now she reverts to a shorter trip.
- LLANTARA
- GAZETTE BOURGEOISE (FR)
- SEXY LOT (GER)
