Improved when opening chase account from an 11 lb lower mark at Hexham (15.6f) in October. Good efforts next 2 starts and possibly not 100% at Wetherby in December. Not one to write off.
Useful chaser on his day, as shown when runner-up at Cheltenham (15.9f) in October. Not at that level since, albeit faced with stiff task in Grand Annual latest and handicapper has given him a chance.
Bumper/hurdles winner who landed a Newcastle novice chase (16.3f) last winter. Mixed bag has followed but much more like it when runner-up in an Ayr handicap (16.5f) 4 weeks ago. Interesting.
Fairly useful form when scoring with ease over hurdles at Sandown (2m) in February and not disgraced when midfield in Paddy Power Plate at the Festival last month. Return to calmer waters a plus.
Has taken well to chasing this term, scoring for second time at Musselburgh (15.8f) in November. No threat from higher mark up in grade back there in January but it's still relatively early days.
Showed improved form to make winning yard debut at Bangor (20.3f) in July prior to a good second at Cartmel later that month. Absent since but Brian Hughes booked and feasible to expect a big run.
Pretty useful hurdler at his best but below par all 3 outings in that sphere this term and not a great deal of encouragement to glean from last month's C&D chase debut effort. Needs to step up.

Forecasts
Eamon An Cnoic (9/4), Mint Gold (4/1), Dali Mail (4/1), Licklighter (13/2), Some Reign (9/1), Western Miller (9/1), Better Getalong (10/1)
A winner over hurdles in February, EAMON AN CNOIC wasn't disgraced when midfield in the Paddy Power Plate over further at Cheltenham last month. It's worth noting each of his last 2 victories have come at around 2m, and having been given a chance by the handicapper, he may well capitalise on the return to calmer waters. Licklighter, on return to action, and Dali Mail are others to consider.
