Has lost his way over fences but is on a feasible mark if a return to hurdling sparks a revival.
Has some temperament but he did manage a win at Wincanton in December. In-and-out form since, so hard to make a strong case for.
Progressive young hurdler who followed up his Newton Abbot win with wide-margin success in Musselburgh handicap. Creditable fourth in competitive events at Cheltenham and Kempton since. Player.
Bumper winner who made a successful start over hurdles at Plumpton (2m, soft) in January. Improved again when second in C&D novice 7 weeks later. Potential for better again in handicaps. Go well.
Have to go back to 2018 for the last time he tasted success, but in fairness he has regular in good-quality handicaps. Off 4 months, fair third over C&D in a visor (retained) last week.
Dual AW Flat winner and has shown a fair level of ability in 5 runs over hurdles. Off since a lesser effort at Kempton in November.

Forecasts
Dobryn (5/4), The Bees Knees (7/4), Magic Dancer (11/2), River Bray (16/1), Caid Du Lin (16/1), Decoration Of War (28/1)
This looks easier than the handicaps THE BEES KNEES has run well in on his last 2 starts so he gets the nod to land a third success of the campaign. The unexposed Dobryn looks the obvious danger, although Caid du Lin is also well treated if a return to hurdles sparks an upturn in his fortunes.
