Acdc^t⁵³

Age: 11| Weight: 11-12| J: Sean Quinlan| T: C Grant| OR: 100WS

7/4

One-time useful chaser, but it's been a struggle in recent seasons and has undergone another round of wind surgery following last month's fall at Catterick.

Form: 55-755F

Istimraar²¹²

Age: 10| Weight: 11-2| J: Sam Coltherd⁽³⁾| T: A B Hamilton| OR: 90| D

13/2

Largely consistent since switched to fences and did the job well when opening chase account at Perth last summer. Well held on latest start 7 months ago, but claims if fully tuned-up here.

Form: 124230

Tortuga Bay^p³³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: B S Hughes| T: J Ewart| OR: 89| CD

5/2

Lightly-raced 7-y-o who landed a 2m Newcastle novice hurdle here in December. Some encouragement on chase debut next time and, though, pulled up at Sedgefield latest, she's one to consider.

Form: P-8140P

Indian Voyage^t¹⁷⁹

Age: 13| Weight: 10-6| J: Ross Chapman| T: M A Barnes| OR: 80| D

18/1

Well into the veteran stage now and showed nothing when returning from 14 months off at Hexham in October.

Form: 39/P67-P

Saltmarket²⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-5| J: Danny McMenamin| T: Miss L A Perratt| OR: 79

8/1

Modest maiden hurdler and very little in the way of positives to glean from his 2 starts over fences to date.

Form: P6-73PP

Rann Of Kutch²²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: Aaron Anderson⁽⁷⁾| T: M E Sowersby| OR: 70

6/1

Bettered what she showed over hurdles when fourth of 10 on chase debut Wetherby (15.2f, good to soft) 22 days ago, but another sizeable step forward needed here.

Form: 697PP4

Scorpo^b¹⁰

Age: 10| Weight: 10-0| J: Philip Armson⁽⁷⁾| T: V Thompson| OR: 68

20/1

Sole win from 32 runs came back in early 2019 and she has offered little in three runs this term. Very hard to enthuse over from 6 lb out of the weights here.

Form: 37-UP78

Non-Runners

Clondaw Storm⁸⁹

Weight: 11-7| Age: 7

Forecasts

Silken Moonlight (5/4), Acdc (7/4), Tortuga Bay (5/2), Clondaw Storm (11/2), Rann Of Kutch (6/1), Istimraar (13/2), Saltmarket (8/1), Indian Voyage (18/1), Scorpo (20/1)

It's easy to have reservations about TORTUGA BAY on the back of an inauspicious display at Sedgefield, but she is given another chance to build on the promise of her chase debut in December. Silken Moonlight will merits serious consideration if turned out again quickly following her Carlisle success on Sunday, but conditions will be different here and Istimraar may pose a bigger threat.
