Off the mark over hurdles at Newbury in March 2019 and (8/1) made promising return after 2 years off when third of 8 in 2m handicap at Ludlow last month. Not taken lightly.

Fairly useful winning ex-Irish hurdler but not at his best of late. Hooded for yard debut after 5 months off and others are more persuasive.

Forecasts

Song Of The Hunter (13/8), Ey Up Rocky (85/40), Star of Rory (4/1), Thor De Cerisy (6/1), Repetitio (13/2), Chazza (7/1), Kajaki (14/1), Rip Rocks Paddy Ok (125/1)

Verdict

A few with chances but SONG OF THE HUNTER looks the way to go given he has run two excellent races since joining Johnny Farrelly and still has few miles on the clock. Star of Rory also arrives in fine nick though so should ensure he doesn't have things all his own way, with Ey Up Rocky well worth considering too after a promising return at Ludlow.

  1. SONG OF THE HUNTER (FR)
  2. STAR OF RORY (IRE)
  3. EY UP ROCKY
