Form: 75-31PF

Broken Quest^t²⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: David Bass| T: M Sheppard| OR: 132| D

7/1

Fine strike rate in handicap hurdles and has won 3 of 4 starts this season after 33 months off, continuing progress when making winning debut over fences at Ludlow 3 weeks ago. Must be respected.

Thomas Macdonagh^t³⁶

Age: 8| Weight: 11-4| J: Page Fuller| T: Jamie Snowden| OR: 131

9/1

Three hurdle wins last season and already better over fences, off the mark at the third attempt when landing 3-runner novice at Catterick. Possible excuses at Carlisle since and drops back in trip.

Form: 50-431P

Informateur²⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-3| J: Ryan Mania| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 130| D

5/1

Fairly useful hurdler who left chase debut form well behind when landing 19f maiden at Catterick in November. Only just denied next 2 of 3 starts so remains of interest with yard in better form now.

Form: 7-61242

Captain Blackpearl^t²⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-0| J: J J Burke| T: T R George| OR: 127| D

7/2

Showed promise over hurdles and has improved sent chasing this season, winning in good style at Kempton on return. Sure to have gone close but for late blunder there latest. Retains potential.

Form: 244-123

Glenduff²⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: B S Hughes| T: N G Richards| OR: 125

7/2

Fairly useful winning novice hurdler last season and all the better for belated return/chase debut when good third at Doncaster 4 weeks ago, travelling best. Back down in trip and has more to offer.

Form: 4/163-53

Keep Rolling^t²⁷

Age: 8| Weight: 10-6| J: M G Nolan| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 119

7/2

Free-going sort. Bumper/hurdles winner. Very much the type to make a better chaser and duly made a promising start over fences when runner-up at Chepstow last month. Capable of better.

Form: 43-1742

Forecasts

Glenduff (7/2), Keep Rolling (7/2), Captain Blackpearl (7/2), Informateur (5/1), Broken Quest (7/1), Thomas Macdonagh (9/1), L'Air Du Vent (11/1)

This looks very competitive but KEEP ROLLING arguably has the most potential so earns the vote. All 6 of his rivals look possible threats, notably Captain Blackpearl and Broken Quest.
