Showed fair form when third sole bumper start and quickly made up into fairly useful maiden over hurdles. Well held last two starts though in jumpers bumper so bit to prove back in this sphere.

β¬15,000 3-y-o, Schiaparelli gelding. Half-brother to 5 winners, notably fairly useful 2m5f,hurdler At First Light. In excellent hands so interesting debutant. Worth market check.
Well held both runs over hurdles, 300/1 when fifth of 7 in novice at Wetherby (16f, heavy) 28 days ago. Hooded/tongue strap on with lots to find.
Β£105,000 buy after winning sole start in Irish points. Failrly useful efforts when twice runner-up in 2m Ludlow novice hurdles before Christmas. Sure to go well again afer his break.
Modest maiden on Flat. Showed nothing tried hurdling when pulled up at Doncaster in December and below par on the level and in jumpers bumper subsequently. Hard to fancy.
Third on sole completed start in points in 2019. 11/1, close up to home turn when pulled up in novice hurdle at Southwell (20.4f, soft) on NH debut 15 days ago. Down in trip and should do better.
Fairly useful 1m Flat winner. Twice-raced maiden over hurdles, had wind op before fading fourth of 9 in novice over C&D 16 days ago. Solid claims on that form but stamina issues persist.
Just modest form in Irish bumpers and well held on hurdling/yard debut at Musselburgh in November. Since had wind op. Hood back on now with plenty to prove.
Β£34,000 3-y-o, Mahler gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful 19f hurdler Super Sid and fair chaser Theatre Princess. Not without interest on pedigree but yard not noted for its debut winners.
Little show in bumpers and has fared no better in two runs over hurdles, cheekpieces tried at Fontwell last time. Easily opposed.
Fair and consistent 1m4f maiden on Flat for Ed Walker. Joined new yard for 24,000 gns and (14/1) encouraging debut fifth of 9 in juvenile hurdle at Newbury (2m, good) 18 days ago. Has more to offer.

Forecasts
Kakamora (13/8), Chasamax (9/4), Oasis Prince (4/1), Old Friend (11/2), Thirtyfourstitches (14/1), Design Icon (18/1), Nashville Nipper (22/1), Johnny Mac (150/1), Mobham (150/1), Uberman (300/1), Worth Knowing (300/1)
A few with chances but KAKAMORA is taken to build on his promising start in this sphere returning after a break and add to his earlier points win. Old Friend shaped up well on his first run for Gary Moore when fifth at Newbury at the start of the month so rates the chief threat, although a market move for Kim Bailey's newcomer Design Icon would put a different slant on things.
- KAKAMORA
- OLD FRIEND (FR)
- DESIGN ICON
