Successful at Hexham (3m) and this course (3¼m) at the start of the season. Form dipped thereafter, but shaped as though coming to hand again at Newcastle recently and he needs considering.
Registered victories over hurdles and fences here last term. Not at his best so far this season, but has slipped back to his last winning mark, so there's cause for optimism.
Modest form at best over hurdles, but this point winner stepped up on his low-key chase debut fourth of 13 in a first-time visor at Market Rasen (23.9f, soft) last time. Cheekpieces refitted here.
Two wins over hurdles on his CV and not disgraced over inadequate trips in handicap chases at Sedgefield and this course the last twice. Not without hope now stepping back up in trip.
Irish point winner, but 0-9 over hurdles and beaten around 30 lengths when third on last month's chase debut at Sedgefield (21.1f, heavy).
Temperamental sort who took chase record to 0-8 when again well held at Musselburgh in January.
Poor maiden handicap hurdler and similar form over fences. 5 lb out of the handicap and will probably come up short once more.

Forecasts
Tour De Pub (11/4), Hitman Fred (9/2), Skyhill (9/2), Ashjan (11/2), Damiens Dilemma (13/2), Farlam King (8/1), Final Reminder (8/1), Emirat De Catana (10/1)
DAMIENS DILEMMA isn't getting any younger, but the fire evidently still burns bright judged on his latest effort at Newcastle where he may well have finished closer but for clouting the second last. He is now 3 lb lower than when winning here in October and gets the nod ahead of Tour de Pub, who will be a threat if building on his Market Rasen display last month. Skyhill also enters calculations.
