Still winless, but he has largely run well in handicaps this term, had wind op (also tongue tied) before third at Taunton (3m) last month. Another bold showing likely with cheekpieces back on.

Point winner who opened her account over C&D and posted good fourth in 3m handicap chase at Musselburgh last time. May do better still, especially if brushing up her jumping, so needs considering.

Verdict

A case can be made for all of these but JEAN GENIE showed the benefit of a wind op when an excellent recent third at Taunton and is taken to gain a deserved first win off a 1 lb lower mark. C&D winner Chanting Hill rates a big threat, especially if keeping mistakes to a minimum this time, with Slainte Mhor also well in the mix on the back of his plucky Ayr victory.

  1. JEAN GENIE (FR)
  2. CHANTING HILL (IRE)
  3. SLAINTE MHOR (IRE)
