Bali Body²⁶

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Charlie Hammond| T: Dr R D P Newland

11/1

Runner-up sole start in Irish points. Has shown a fair level of ability in a pair of novice hurdles this year but will need to up his game a little to go close here.

Form: 2-65

Fiddlers Tracker¹⁰⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Ben Jones⁽³⁾| T: Miss R Curtis

50/1

Boasts a cracking pedigree but hard to get excited by what he's achieved in varied company so far, including midfield in 19.5f course maiden hurdle on yard debut in November.

Form: 43P-7

Glentrool²¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-4| J: Millie Wonnacott⁽⁵⁾| T: S Thomas

11/2

Fair bumper winner back in 2018 but very lightly raced since. Did show he retains some ability when midfield in 2m Wincanton novice hurdle on recent return from an absence. Up markedly in trip now.

Form: 3317P/7

Global Frontier¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Robert Williams⁽³⁾| T: Mrs N S Evans

300/1

Made frame sole start in Irish points but well held in bumper/novice hurdles under Rules this winter. Set for another struggle.

Form: 4-07

Jetaway Joey⁸⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: Aidan Coleman| T: O Murphy| OR: 120WS

5/2

Bumper winner at Fontwell last winter. Placed on both completed starts over hurdles around 2½m this season. Looks sure to be bang there if stamina holds now going up in trip. Had had wind op.

Form: 21-2F3

Slipway²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-4| J: K Brogan⁽⁵⁾| T: B Pauling| OR: 125| BF

4/6

Going the right way, bumping into a useful prospect when second over C&D (heavy) last month. Can go one better now.

Form: 7-432

Well Briefed¹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Sean Houlihan⁽³⁾| T: Sheila Lewis

80/1

Point winner but more one for handicaps in this sphere based on his effort in a 2m maiden hurdle at Ludlow last month. Up markedly in trip now.

Form: 6-140

Forecasts

Slipway (4/6), Jetaway Joey (5/2), Kilbrook (7/2), Glentrool (11/2), Bali Body (11/1), Fiddlers Tracker (50/1), Well Briefed (80/1), Alderson (100/1), Global Frontier (300/1)

SLIPWAY has made steady progress this term and is taken to go one better than over C&D last time. Jetaway Joey and Kilbrook are the obvious dangers.
