Hurdles winner here during 2018/19 and has made the frame on 2 of his 4 starts in this sphere, including over C&D in November. Jumping went to pot next time, but good chance if cutting out the errors.
Hit the target in handicap chases at Huntingdon and Hereford last season, but he has burning questions to answer following a couple of lacklustre performances this time round.
Has operated well below his best in a handful of appearances since returning from a lengthy absence last March, and the percentage call is to look elsewhere.
Low-mileage 8-y-o improved on previous efforts when narrowly prevailing over 19f here in December. However, he ran no sort of a race at Warwick since and needs to get back on track.
Winless following 10 attempts over hurdles and while his chase debut/reappearance effort at Ffos Las was fairly encouraging, his subsequent display at Fontwell was poor (jumped erratically).
Winning pointer who was runner-up in a maiden hurdle here last March. However, his 3 subsequent efforts have been poor, including on recent chase debut. Blinkers applied.
Winning reappearance at Perth in August and while his form has tailed off badly of late, it would be no great suprise to see him bounce back off this reduced mark under more suitable conditions.
Capitalised on a much-reduced mark when resuming winning ways at Stratford (22.6f) in October. Absent since, but remains on a good mark and he's one to consider.
Ex-pointer who stepped up on low-key hurdles form when fifth of 13 on return/chase debut at Market Rasen in October. Pulled up at Hereford next time, but he remains with potential in this sphere.
Irish point winner who has shown more spark switched to fences following a wind op, best effort yet when finding just one too good at Market Rasen (3m) recently. 3 lb rise fair and he merits respect.

Forecasts
Shattered Glass (7/4), Sandford Castle (5/2), Writteninthesand (11/2), Vango De Vaige (7/1), Clondaw's Answer (15/2), Bogoss Du Perret (17/2), Write It Down (10/1), Nessfield Blue (10/1), Brigadier Bob (16/1), Hedgeinator (20/1), Bonanza Sam (40/1), Abbey Street (50/1)
WRITTENINTHESAND's jumping went to pot at Hereford when last seen in November, but he showed enough on his Market Rasen chase debut a month earlier to suggest that he has a future over fences. Tom George's charge is marginally preferred to Shattered Glass, who will be a threat if able to build on his latest improved effort. Sandford Castle is also feared and Write It Down is dangerous to discount.
