Tailed off when pulled up before 5 out in 4-y-o event at Compiegne on hurdling debut, jumping tentatively in mid-division and dropping away. Has left Mme P. Butel & J-L. Beaunez. Has had a wind op.

Placed on 3 of his 4 starts in bumpers and much more like it on second hurdles start when third in a big-field novice at Warwick last month. More to come over this trip.

Milan gelding. Closely related to fairly useful hurdler Asum. No match for the winner but a promising start nonetheless when second at Doncaster in January (20.8f). Will improve.

Well held in bumpers 3 years ago but a multiple point winner since. Needed to see more back hurdling in December, though.

Verdict

Having shaped like a stayer in bumpers, PARTY FUZZ offered much more on second hurdles start when third at Warwick last month and he's very likely to progress again up in trip. Henry Gondoff got the job done at Wetherby and is an obvious threat under a penalty, with Valsheda another to note.
