bet365 Standard Open NH Flat Race (GBB Race)

Off time: 16:25 | Winning time: 4m 1.79s

Backpacker⁹⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: Jonathon Bewley⁽³⁾| T: G Bewley

200/1

Might come good further down the line, but hard to make any sort of case for after an inauspicious debut at Carlisle 97 days ago.

Form: 7

Donaire

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: B S Hughes| T: S R B Crawford

11/4

€17,000 Califet gelding. Half-brother to fair 19f hurdle winner Delirious Love and bumper winner What A Lark. Warrants market check for a stable with a good record in this sphere.

Form:

Salvino^t1¹³²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: Ryan Mania| T: A M Thomson| D

6/1

Leading Light gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 3m) Ballybolley. Wears tongue strap. Off mark in points at second attempt last time (Oct 25).

Form: 3-1

Tartan Cookie²⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 11-1| J: Sean Quinlan| T: A C Whillans

33/1

Half-brother to 3 winners and showed ability when fifth at Newcastle on debut, so could take a hand if he improves for that initial experience.

Form: 5

Upandatit^t⁴³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: Grant Cockburn| T: N W AlexanderWS

40/1

Placed both starts between the flags, but down the field at Musselburgh on Rules debut and liable to need more time and distance.

Form: 33-8

Hear Me Out⁷⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 11-0| J: Craig Nichol| T: K Dalgleish

15/2

Winning debut at Market Rasen (13f, good to soft) in October. Similar form when hitting the frame both starts since, but he's seemingly vulnerable.

Form: 124

Milly On Air⁴⁵

Age: 5| Weight: 10-8| J: Sam Coltherd⁽³⁾| T: W Coltherd

200/1

No show in a couple of bumpers to this point, so easily opposed.

Form: B-0

Jomont³²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Danny McMenamin| T: M Dods

7/2

Learned from initial experience when runner-up at Newcastle last month, which sets a clear standard on what's been achieved under Rules, so he's an obvious player.

Form: 42

Netywell

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Blair Campbell⁽³⁾| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell

25/1

Willywell gelding. Brother to Willytova. Dam, 2¼m hurdle winner, also 1¼m-1½m winner on Flat. Worth a market check.

Form:

Sayadam^t1

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: David Bass| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls

2/1

Saint Des Saints gelding. Dam (c135/h143) French hurdler/chaser (2¼m-2¾m winner). Newcomers from yard usually warrant respect. Wears tongue strap.

Form:

Forecasts

Sayadam (2/1), Donaire (11/4), Jomont (7/2), Salvino (6/1), Hear Me Out (15/2), Netywell (25/1), Tartan Cookie (33/1), Upandatit (40/1), Milly On Air (200/1), Backpacker (200/1)

SALVINO opened his account in points at the second attempt and should be suited by this stiff track debuting under Rules for an in-form stable, so he makes the most appeal. Jomont has much the best Rules form, so he's regarded as a threat along with newcomer Sayadam.
