11/10
Fairly useful hurdler who proved suited by the longer trip when off the mark in 6-runner maiden at Haydock (22.8f) in December. Not disgraced in a stronger race at Ascot since and should go well.

Just modest at best in bumpers and was beaten a long way on Wincanton hurdling debut last time. Has had a wind operation since.

Winning pointer at third attempt who showed a fair level of ability when third in a 7-runner novice at Kelso (22.7f) in November. Should improve.

Useful on Flat in Germany (stays 1¾m), but hasn't shown much for present yard and fair bit to prove now back over hurdles.

€95,000 buy from good NH family who shaped with promise first 2 outings for David Pipe (bumper/hurdle). Not disgraced for new yard after 22 months off in AW bumper and is entitled to strip fitter.

Third both starts in Irish points in early-2019, and much better effort over hurdles when second of 12 in 2m maiden at Fakenham (16f, heavy) 37 days ago, clear of rest. Solid claims up in trip.

Bit of promise in bumpers but looks best watched for now.

Timeform
Offered something to work on when fourth of 12 in a course bumper on debut in November. That form hasn't worked out but he's bred to be suited by this stiffer test over hurdles.

Has hinted at ability in bumpers/over hurdles, but handicaps will be more his bag.

Has shaped like a stayer in a brace of bumpers so this step up in trip looks a good move now hurdling. Tongue tied.

From a successful NH family, but offered little in bumpers and a similar story in a pair of novice hurdles.

Forecasts

Buzz De Turcoing (11/10), Kildimo (9/4), Erne River (7/2), Ernesto (16/1), Glen Vine (16/1), Mont Saint Vincent (25/1), Boulting For Glory (40/1), Norvics Reflection (66/1), Lord Buttons (100/1), Native Choice (150/1), Travelling Max (200/1)

Verdict

KILDIMO pulled clear with another progressive sort at Fakenham last time and, with this longer trip set to suit, he gets the nod to go one better. Glen Vine showed clear promise for David Pipe a couple of seasons ago so is certainly in the mix with a recent run under his belt, while Buzz de Turcoing looks the other key player.

  1. KILDIMO (IRE)
  2. GLEN VINE
  3. BUZZ DE TURCOING (FR)
