Dual chase winner last season. Reached frame over fences on first 3 starts this term and worth ignoring latest run in Skybet at Doncaster as he made a terrible error early on. Back hurdling now.
Useful winning hurdler at his best but raced only twice last term and offered little back from another 9-month absence in 20.5f handicap here in November.
Useful hurdler at best but no promise in a chase and 2 hurdles this season, taking little interest last time. Lots to prove.
Unreliable chaser for Noel Williams and has struggled badly in 3 starts over fences for new yard. Remains to be seen if a return to hurdles makes any difference.
Made fine start over fences with win at Kelso in December 2019 but his jumping didn't stand up to competitive Borders National there on his return to action a year later. Lower mark back hurdling.
Fairly useful hurdle/chase winner who was back to form when 3 lengths third of 12 over C&D in November. This is his first outing since.
Improver since switched to handicaps, benefitting from the step up to 3m+ at Uttoxeter in August and Warwick in September. Good in-frame efforts last twice (C&D first occasion). Should figure again.
Hereford novice hurdle winner for Jonjo O'Neill last term and better form in handicaps for new yard this time round. Fell early over C&D latest. Shapes as if 3m will suit.
Bumper winner for Olly Murphy. Promise when placed in maiden/novice hurdles for this yard and a steadily-run jumpers bumper didn't play to strengths last time. Unexposed now handicapping.
Fairly useful hurdler who started the season in good form but ran badly at Kempton over Christmas. Not beaten that far in a jumpers bumper last month but others are still preferred.
Proved a different proposition switched to handicaps after 10 months off when scoring at Warwick (21f) in September. Better form when placed both starts since and interesting contender up in trip.
Placed on 5 of his 7 starts over hurdles, albeit it was disappointing that he failed to take advantage of what looked a golden opportunity in 3m Ayr novice last time. Cheekpieces applied.
Well suited by the step up to 3m when 2 lengths second of 16 in strong handicap here 12 days ago. Big chance off the same mark if in similar form.

Forecasts
Howling Milan (13/8), Dhowin (9/2), Roque It (13/2), Present Chief (8/1), Outonpatrol (9/1), Iwilldoit (14/1), Neverbeen To Paris (16/1), Regarding Ruth (22/1), Imperial Knight (22/1), Boldmere (25/1), Colonial Dreams (33/1), Breaking Waves (50/1), Canyon City (80/1)
A competitive handicap but HOWLING MILAN does rather stand out having run very well in a strongly-contested affair over C&D on Betfair Hurdle day. He's 4 lb well-in compared to his future mark and ought to take a bit of stopping if in the same form. Unexposed sorts Outonpatrol and Roque It are interesting, while Present Chief can extend his run of good efforts this term and reach the frame again.
