Glory And Honour⁴³

Age: 5| Weight: 11-11| J: J J Burke| T: T Lacey| OR: 127| BF

9/4

Point winner who got off the mark over hurdles at second time of asking in November. Arrives on back of a win and second in jumpers bumpers in January. More to come in handicaps.

Form: D-22113

Royal Pretender²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-10| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: A King| OR: 126

9/2

Promise first 2 starts in maiden hurdles in the autumn. Tame display at Doncaster in January but bounced back with a jumpers bumper win last month. Respected.

Form: 64331

Aquila Sky^t⁴³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-0| J: R T Dunne| T: S Allwood| OR: 116

17/2

Improved when placed in first 2 handicaps and possibly unsuited by very testing ground when well held at Newbury last time. Worth another chance.

Form: 84-7337

Presentedwithwings⁶⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 10-11| J: Benjamin Poste| T: T Symonds| OR: 113

20/1

All the better for his reappearance when making a winning hurdling debut at Hereford in November but needs to shrug off a couple of lesser runs since, including in a handicap.

Form: 43/4140

One For You^t1⁸²

Age: 6| Weight: 10-10| J: T J O'Brien| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 112

11/2

Closely related to smart hurdler/high-class chaser Monalee. Has shown promise in his qualifying runs and appeals as a likely improver in handicaps. Also tongue tied first time.

Form: 7445

Glen Mooar⁴⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 10-8| J: J M Quinlan| T: R Dickin| OR: 110

13/2

Did appear to show a bit when not beaten that far in Warwick Grade 2 last time but it could flatter him based on what he'd shown prior to that. Handicap debut.

Form: 7/F-070

Winged Isle⁷⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-5| J: Ben Jones⁽³⁾| T: D Burchell| OR: 107

6/1

Caught the eye in a 2m course maiden before finishing a solid third in a 19.5f Hereford handicap in December. This is a higher grade, though.

Form: 73F-P63

Non-Runners

Switch Hitter⁶⁸

Weight: 11-11| Age: 6

T: P F Nicholls J: Bryony Le Clerc

Forecasts

Glory And Honour (9/4), Royal Pretender (9/2), Switch Hitter (5/1), One For You (11/2), Winged Isle (6/1), Glen Mooar (13/2), Aquila Sky (17/2), Took The Lot (14/1), Presentedwithwings (20/1)

AQUILA SKY got stuck in the mud last time and is perhaps worth another chance as his Doncaster third prior to that has worked out well. There's surely more to come from recent jumpers bumper winner Glory And Honour over hurdles and he looks next best ahead of One For You and Switch Hitter in an interesting contest.
