Off time: 13:30 | Winning time: 6m 38.38s

Highland Hunter¹⁰^{(ex 7)}

Age: 8| Weight: 11-11| J: Harry Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 135| D

11/4

Progressive hurdler who was shaping encouragingly prior to falling at the last at Chepstow on chase bow in January. Confirmed promise when scoring at Carlisle (26f) since and he's a player again.

Form: 81-23F1

Earth Moor¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: M G Nolan| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 139| C

12/1

Off the mark in good style over fences at Fontwell (21.6f) in December. Not disgraced when midfield in a jumpers bumper at Kempton 2 weeks ago and not discounted.

Form: 01-5156

Dolphin Square^p1³⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: R Johnson| T: P Hobbs & J White| OR: 137| C| D

5/1

Useful hurdler who showed aptitude for chasing at the first attempt when runner-up in a C&D novice event last month. Possible he'll sharpen up for that and better to come now handicapping.

Form: 412-2P2

L'Air Du Vent^t⁷⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-6| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 137| CD

7/1

Ex-pointer who drew a blank over hurdles but improved to get off the mark in a C&D novice in November. Seemingly not 100% at Cheltenham since and he remains low-mileage.

Form: 375-31P

Welsh Saint²²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: James Bowen| T: N J Henderson| OR: 134| D

13/2

Useful hurdler who showed promise at the second attempt over fences when third in a Ffos Las novice (23.8f) recently, jumping well for the most part. Another likely improver now handicapping.

Form: 1310-U3

Hold That Taught⁴⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-11| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 128| D

2/1

Novice hurdle winner in the mud last term and even better over fences this time around, running a cracker behind Ask Me Early at Chepstow last month. Mark creeping up but he's one to be interested in.

Form: 155-232

Forecasts

Hold That Taught (2/1), Highland Hunter (11/4), Dolphin Square (5/1), Welsh Saint (13/2), L'Air Du Vent (7/1), Earth Moor (12/1)

Positive cases can be made for most, including HOLD THAT TAUGHT. He's knocked on the door all 3 starts over fences so far this season and is fancied to make another bold bid. Carlisle scorer Highland Hunter and Dolphin Square head up the dangers.
