9/1

Easy all-the-way winner on his chase debut in 23f Newcastle novice handicap but well held both starts since. Not easiest to catch right but could easily bounce back.

Age: 8| Weight: 11-2| J: Jamie Hamilton| T: Justin Landy| OR: 93

12/1

Multiple point winner but no impact in novice/maiden hurdles.

Age: 8| Weight: 10-11| J: C O'Farrell| T: J Walton| OR: 88

9/2

Likeable type who landed his first 2 hurdle runs this term then good fourth at Catterick. Unseated rider first at Musselburgh back over fences last time but worth another chance.

Forecasts

Cudgel (9/2), Luca Brasi's Boy (9/2), Road Warrior (5/1), Kings Cave (6/1), Hitman Fred (9/1), Epsom Des Mottes (9/1), Monte Alban (12/1), McCrackens Gate (12/1), Liar's Dice (18/1), Marvellous Joe (18/1), Nettlebush (28/1)

CUDGEL has won off this mark over hurdles so is worth another chance in this sphere having unseated early at Musselburgh. Road Warrior has been knocking on the door this winter and should go well again, while Luca Brasi's Boy makes most appeal of the chasing debutants having showed much-improved form at Catterick.
