Verdict

Irish point recruit MILANS EDGE gets the nod to make a winning start under Rules for the Donald McCain/Brian Hughes combination. Haute Estime was no match for the smart Eileendover on her 12.5f course debut but there's no disgrace in that and the longer trip now should help. The fact Wisteriarose went off second favourite on her debut suggests she's thought capable of better than she showed.
