Newbury 1¼m novice winner for Ed Walker last summer but 33/1 when pulled up Warwick hurdle debut for new yard 14 days ago. Needs to have come on a lot in short time.
Just touched off on debut in Plumpton juvenile hurdle in September. That wasn't a deep race, though, and he's been brushed aside in more competitive contests since.
Fairly useful maiden on Flat in Ireland, finishing good fourth in 1¼m handicap when last seen in June (left Donnacha O'Brien after). Had wind op ahead of hurdle debut. Keep an eye on in betting.
Fairly useful maiden at up to 1½m on Flat in France in 2020. Bought for €30,000 in November. Would enter reckoning if market suggests he's fancied.
Bagged a French bumper last summer. Well held in similar event at Huntingdon debut but career back on track when 2 lengths second to useful Fiveandtwenty on Musselburgh hurdle debut.
Fair on Flat (stays 10.5f) for Karl Burke. 40/1, offered little on Ascot hurdle debut 25 days ago but it's clearly early days in this sphere and he's in good hands.
Fairly useful on Flat (stays 12.5f) for Heather Main. Needed experience when remote fifth of 15 on Newbury hurdle debut last month. Could leave that bare form well behind.
Fair Flat winner. Ran to a similar level when second in 2m Wetherby juvenile in November and worth ignoring run in Grade 1 next time. Not disgraced on AW Flat latest.
Passing Glance gelding. Dam, point winner, half-sister to bumper winner Brigadier Miller out of half-sister to Champion Hurdle victor Royal Gait. Likely he's best watched on debut.
Twice raced in France for Francois Nicolle, finishing well held on hurdle debut last March but went close in chase 8 months later. Betting should guide.
Fair ex-Irish 11f Flat winner who hinted at promise on hurdling bow when seventh of 8 in Cheltenham juvenile in December. Well beaten at Newbury since but this a shade easier.
Debut winner on Flat (6f) for Kevin Ryan in July 2019 but regressive since, including pulled up on Warwick hurdle debut a fortnight ago.
Fair 12.5f Flat winner in France but beaten a long way in a couple of juvenile hurdles for new yard in recent months. Likely vulnerable again.
Fairly useful winning stayer on Flat for Andrew Balding who made promising hurdling bow for new yard when third of 8 at Kempton (2m) 39 days ago. Sure to build on that and leading claims.

Forecasts
Green Book (10/3), Herbiers (7/2), Table Mountain (7/2), Mr Shady (8/1), Bourbali (17/2), Cabot Hills (12/1), Island Nation (12/1), Saint Palais (18/1), Hooroo (22/1), Simply True (25/1), Sarceaux (40/1), Balzac (50/1), One Last Glance (200/1), Yorkshire Gold (300/1)
TABLE MOUNTAIN shaped encouragingly when third on her Kempton hurdle debut and can build on that promise now. Herbiers gave a decent one a bit of a fight at Musselburgh so he's a possible threat. Island Nation's Flat ability provides him with the scope to build on his opening effort over timber. Cabot Hills and Green Book are hurdle newcomers to monitor in the betting.
- TABLE MOUNTAIN
- HERBIERS (FR)
- ISLAND NATION (IRE)
