8/1

Winner at Lingfield in October. Eighth of 9 in handicap (5/2) at Lingfield (8f, AW) 57 days ago. Makes tapeta debut and will probably find one of two too good.

The Great Heir^p²⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 9-6| J: O McSweeney⁽⁷⁾| T: K A Ryan| OR: 74| D

8/1

Sixteen runs since last win in 2018. Sixth of 7 in handicap (13/2) at Southwell (7.1f) 28 days ago. Can give a good account without posing serious threat to principals.

Form: 07422-6

(10)

Maysong^p1⁶²

17/2

Below form seventh of 14 in handicap at Kempton (7f, 15/2) 62 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time and very much one to consider back off the mark of his sole previous success.

Form: 650357-

(5)

Ghathanfar¹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 9-4| J: T Eaves| T: Miss Tracy Waggott| OR: 72| BF| CD

11/2

C&D winner. Latest win here in October. Good fourth of 10 in handicap (3/1) at this course (6f) 11 days ago. Solid each-way chance.

Form: 58312-4

(7)

With Promise¹⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 9-1| J: Callum Shepherd| T: W J Knight| OR: 69| D

5/1

7/2, creditable 1½ lengths second of 7 to Bobby Joe Leg in handicap at this C&D 19 days ago. 4 lb better off with that rival now and should be in the mix.

Form: 37020-2

(8)

Moonbootz^t1¹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 9-1| J: Megan Nicholls| T: K R Burke| OR: 69

22/1

Age: 6| Weight: 9-0| J: J Garritty| T: Jedd O'Keeffe| OR: 68| D

Bobby Joe Leg⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 8-8| J: J P Sullivan| T: Mrs R Carr| OR: 62| BF| CD

11/1

Three-time C&D winner, the latest in January. 5/4, below form third of 6 in handicap at this C&D 5 days ago. Perhaps a shade too high in the weights for now.

Form: 46-5213

(6)

Chosen World^p²⁶

Age: 7| Weight: 8-8| J: G Lee| T: Miss J A Camacho| OR: 62| CD

6/1

Four-time C&D winner. Improved on recent efforts to win 12-runner handicap at this C&D (9/2) 26 days ago by head from Bobby Joe Leg. 4 lb rise fair and he merits serious consideration.

Form: 82283-1

Forecasts

Kapono (9/2), With Promise (5/1), Ghathanfar (11/2), Chosen World (6/1), The Great Heir (8/1), Giuseppe Cassioli (8/1), Maysong (17/2), Bobby Joe Leg (11/1), Saisons D'Or (14/1), Moonbootz (22/1)

It's worth chancing MAYSONG, who was a close third on his sole previous visit here and has edged back down to the mark off he gained his breakthrough success at Kempton last winter. Chosen World boasts a terrific record at this course and should be in the thick of things once again, while With Promise is taken to reverse recent C&D placings with Bobby Joe Leg and also take a hand in the finish.
