Largely creditable efforts over hurdles last term, winning at Ayr. Shaped as if in need of run on return at that venue in December and now back over fences.
Proved better than ever last season and shaped well until stamina for 3m was fully tested on reappearance here in October. Unable to get near that form since, though.
Took advantage of a much-reduced chase mark when cruising clear in 2m handicap at Ffos Las 12 days ago. Clearly retains handicap scope despite 11 lb rise if he's in the same mood.
Fairly useful winning chaser at best. Lightly raced in last couple of years and not seen his races out with a great deal of purpose of late.
Chase winner at Ludlow in November 2019. Left Nigel Twiston-Davies for £13,000 and last month's jumpers bumper run will have blown away the cobwebs.
Good second in Market Rasen handicap hurdle on return and duly went one better in that sphere at Hereford in December. Successful sole previous start over fences and this 7-y-o remains with potential.
Gained reward for some consistent efforts when landing a handicap at Warwick in December but followed it with a tame display at Ayr a month ago. Could bounce back faced with a lesser test of stamina.
Successful at Kelso (21.5f) last winter, but it's been pretty much all downhill since, looking somewhat temperamental when remote fourth there last time.
Fair 2m hurdles winner. Made encouraging chasing bow when third in 2m handicap at Hexham, but has subsequently failed to build on that.
All the better for return when resuming winning ways in chase at Bangor (17f) in October. Just as good when second there 11 weeks later and should give another good account from same mark.

Forecasts
Demopolis (3/1), Skipping On (10/3), Candy Burg (9/2), Miss Amelia (15/2), Beat Box (15/2), Pookie Pekan (9/1), Pistol Park (10/1), Zuckerberg (12/1), Well Above Par (22/1), Darling Alko (33/1), Kalaharry (40/1)
DEMOPOLIS ended last year on the up over hurdles, and given he won his sole previous start over fences, there's every chance that he will continue the good work back over the larger obstacles. Candy Burg retains handicapping scope on the back of an easy win at Ffos Las, with Miss Amelia also of interest.
