Dual winner who has proven better than ever when finishing second in staying handicaps the last twice and not without a chance.
Winless over hurdles since landing 2018 Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham. Well held in Group 1 Grande Course de Haies d'Auteuil in October but much more of an impact when third in Cheltenham handicap.
Point winner who continues to progress with experience, completing the hat-trick in a Cheltenham Grade 2 (21f). Ran out at Newbury since but that was a likely one-off. Hood fitted on handicap bow.
Looked a good staying prospect when making second hurdles start a winning one in Newbury novice last season and resumed progress to win Wincanton handicap in this headgear last month. Unexposed.
Useful hurdler who signed off last season with good second off this mark in a Grade 3 handicap hurdle at Aintree. Made a winning return back over fences in Fontwell maiden in October.
Consistent staying handicap hurdler but comfortably held both starts switched to fences this season. Back over hurdles now so better can be expected.
Built on encouraging Sandown effort in December when resuming winning ways at Doncaster (24.4f) later that month. In process of running well when falling at the last at Warwick since so respected.
Gained third win from previous 5 hurdle starts in Leicester seller in December. Sold out of Olly Murphy's yard for £9,000 at the subsequent auction before respectable fifth on yard debut at Chepstow.
Successful in the mud at Haydock in December 2019 and now finds himself 1 lb lower in the weights. Must shrug off a heavy defeat at Chepstow last month.
Better than ever last term, successful in this sphere at Chepstow prior to Welsh National win. Respectable third in Cheltenham cross country but not seen to best effect back over hurdles at Warwick.

A high-quality handicap in which plenty have chances, notably the progressive SOUTHFIELD HARVEST, who was just edged out on his handicap bow at Wincanton on Boxing Day and this stiffer test will suit. Champagne Platinum, Brinkley and Does He Know are other unexposed types who need considering, while Agrapart is becoming well handicapped.
