Latest fourth at Taunton looks solid and she's been dropped 1 lb since, so not one to discount under top weight for leading yard.

Related to a couple of useful winners and required only a small amount of further improvement to get off the mark at Kelso. Stiffer test will suit so should do better again now handicapping.

Showed promise in qualifying runs and duly improved to make a winning handicap debut at Market Rasen with a tongue tie added. Open to further improvement so big player.

Successful at Perth in August but mixed record since, respectable fifth here (19.8f) latest. Edging back down the weights at least.

Poor form in a handful of runs over hurdles and opening mark looks very harsh. Change of headgear.

Progressed with each start in handicaps this winter, off the mark over extended 23f at this track on New Year's Day before good second over 19.8f here next time. Can go well again.

Point/bumper winner who didn't convince in 3 starts for Nicky Henderson. Similar story upon joining this stable and plenty to prove after 13 months off. Tongue strap on for 1st time.

Forecasts

Gallahers Cross (4/5), Bullion Boss (11/4), Arnica (6/1), Get The Appeal (7/1), Permission Granted (8/1), Bollingerandkrug (9/1), Golden Emblem (10/1), Pammi (22/1), Get On John (50/1)

Verdict

BOLLINGERANDKRUG is bred for this sort of test so the fact he managed to dictate a 2m novice at Kelso is encouraging. He's taken to follow up on handicap debut at the main expense of Golden Emblem, who left her previous efforts behind when defying her opening mark at Market Rasen. Bullion Boss is best of the others.

  1. BOLLINGERANDKRUG (IRE)
  2. GOLDEN EMBLEM (IRE)
  3. BULLION BOSS (IRE)
