I'm To Blame³⁶

Age: 8| Weight: 11-7| J: Craig Nichol| T: K Dalgleish| OR: 135| CD

10/1

Bumper/hurdles winner who quickly matched his useful form over fences last winter, landing a 22f maiden here 13 months ago. Should strip fitter for hurdle return 5 weeks ago.

Form: 22213-8

Zolfo^p⁹⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-1| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Candlish| OR: 129

50/1

Ended last season in rude health, rattling off the 4-timer at Market Rasen (19f) 13 months ago. Possibly amiss given he dropped away so quickly on Ayr return but revised mark demands more in any case.

Form: 51111-P

Defi Sacre^t³⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: Paul O'Brien⁽³⁾| T: R Hobson| OR: 126| CD

7/2

C&D winner. Improved model over fences last term, rattling off a hat-trick over 2m at Newbury. Positive start to this season when runner-up at Aintree but last 2 starts have been below par.

Form: 11-2U33

Monsieur Co^p,t²⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 10-9| J: C O'Farrell| T: K Dalgleish| OR: 123| CD

11/1

Fairly useful chaser who looked as good as ever when winning Kelso handicap over Christmas. Not seen to best effect in jumpers bumper since. Respected.

Form: P16615

Boy's On Tour¹⁶⁰

Age: 9| Weight: 10-8| J: S Mulqueen⁽³⁾| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell| OR: 122

50/1

Landed 20f handicap in good style at Perth in August but not the most consistent and seemed amiss there later that month.

Form: P25-21P

Rikoboy^t³⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 10-7| J: Charlie Hammond⁽³⁾| T: Dr R D P Newland| OR: 123

11/4

Ex-French and easily best effort for this yard when making a winning chase bow for them at Market Rasen with plenty in hand 38 days ago. More needed up 13 lb in better race but unexposed over fences.

Form: 34-3431

Ruinous⁵⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-7| J: Harry Reed| T: T Reed| OR: 121

6/1

Ended time with Gavin Cromwell with 19f Downpatrick maiden chase success and creditable debut for this yard when runner-up at Newcastle after 4 months off. Remains unexposed.

Form: 6-74712

Ardera Cross^p¹⁹

Age: 10| Weight: 10-0| J: D R Fox| T: W Young Jnr| OR: 111| C| D

16/1

Returned to form from out of the blue to finally take advantage of his plummeting mark at Ayr but not sure to reproduce that from out of the handicap in this better race.

Form: 855661

Non-Runners

Return Ticket³⁶

Weight: 11-12| Age: 8

T: R Menzies J: B S Hughes

Forecasts

Rikoboy (11/4), Rockadenn (10/3), Defi Sacre (7/2), Ruinous (6/1), Return Ticket (7/1), I'm To Blame (10/1), Monsieur Co (11/1), Ardera Cross (16/1), Boy's On Tour (50/1), Zolfo (50/1)

Paul Nicholls has won the last 3 renewals of this race, including with the now very-smart Greaneteen 12 months ago, and ROCKADENN looks a fascinating recruit having won all 3 of his starts over fences in France, including a listed event. Rikoboy won in good style on his first start over fences for this yard at Market Rasen and is another to consider, with the unexposed Ruinous best of the others.
