Badly out of sorts so far this term, last in a handicap at Bangor returning to hurdling last time. Makes no appeal.

Winning pointer who improved with each start over hurdles for Alastair Ralph. Has looked temperamental on both outings for current stable, however.

Poor strike rate in this sphere but has fallen a long way in the weights and took a step in the right direction when fourth in handicap at Exeter last time, so not ruled out.

Put it all together to get off the mark over fences at Newton Abbot (21f) in July. Unlucky to bump into a progressive one ahead of its mark at Plumpton a month ago and is respected back over timber.

Mark has edged down (rated in mid-120s a year ago) but hard to make a case for based on his last couple of outings.

Back on form with pair of in-frame efforts around 3m at Wetherby and Huntingdon but latest effort was sub-bar. Mark still appears to sum him up, too.

Winning pointer who returned with successful handicap bow over C&D in November (cheekpieces on) and has remained in good form since, runner-up at Chepstow last time. Obvious claims.

Fairly useful on the Flat and ran out an easy winner on handicap hurdle debut at Chepstow in November. Quickly back to form when runner-up at Warwick 5 weeks ago and one to consider up in trip.

Has generally looked limited as a hurdler, one again making little impression at Exeter last time. The step back up in trip could help, though.

Well held in a bumper and a trio of hurdling outings. Up in trip for handicap debut, so not impossible that he can show some improvement.

On a long losing run, and pulled up both starts this season. Hard to fancy.

Maiden who did better than previously this season at Bangor last time but is hardly a solid betting proposition from out of the weights.

Forecasts

Le Tueur (6/5), Darksideoftarnside (6/1), March Is On (8/1), Dorrana (17/2), Oxwich Bay (9/1), Gio's Girl (10/1), Looks Like Power (12/1), Stung For Cash (14/1), Some Can Dance (22/1), Steel Native (33/1), Jully Les Buxy (40/1), Dysania (50/1), Emmas Dilemma (66/1), Adimelo (100/1)

Verdict

LE TUEUR showed further improvement and pulled a long way clear of the remainder when second in a handicap at Chepstow 15 days ago and makes most appeal in his bid for a second C&D success of the campaign. Darksideoftarnside filled the same spot at Warwick last time and ranks as the main danger ahead of Oxwich Bay.
