Generally progressive and impressive winner at Ludlow last week. Looks well treated under a penalty so obvious claims.
Took well to fences last term, scoring in gritty style here (2m) before good second of 4 over 20f at Plumpton. Has gone well fresh before so he's not ruled out despite 11 months off.
Losing run is mounting up but knocked on the door on 3 of his 4 starts over fences this season, suggesting his turn isn't far away.
Bumper/hurdles winner who put it all together to score over fences at Stratford in August. Disappointed following month and sold from Charlie Longsdon for £15,000. Off since but can go well fresh.
Point winner who put in a good round of jumping when second to a race-fit rival on return/chase debut at Southwell (2m) in December. Possibly amiss at Newbury next time.
Fair in bumpers and showed promise in novice hurdles last season. Looked cooked when unseating rider 4 out on return/chase debut at Doncaster (19f) and headgear now applied.
Veteran who took advantage of a career-low mark back from 3 months off when winning 20f Lingfield handicap chase under this rider and backed that up with good second at Warwick. Respected.
Novice hurdle winner who found trip too short on chase bow/belated comeback at Doncaster 3 weeks ago. This more suitable but he still has something to prove.

GOLDEN WHISKY showed much-improved form to resume winning ways at Ludlow last week, unrecognisable from the horse that had pulled up at Hereford the time before, and should prove hard to beat if turning up in similar form under a penalty. Aubusson still retains plenty of zest and is next best ahead of fellow-veteran Aintree My Dream, who has been knocking on the door.
