Market Rasen novice winner last March and returned with a good second at Fontwell in October. Underwhelming at Ascot next time but going nicely when unseating 3 out at Ayr since. Handicap debut.
Front-runner who signed off last season with a Carlisle win (soft) but not in anything like the same form in 2 comeback runs there this autumn. Eight-week break needs to have revived.
Promise when runner-up first 2 starts in bumpers. Off 12 months, shaped nicely when filling same position on Carlisle hurdle debut. Only a remote fourth since but retains potential now handicapping.
Failed to complete all 3 starts over fences but back on track returned to hurdles, second at Southwell before going one better at Ffos Las (2½m, heavy). Raised 10 lb but still much respected.
Very useful at his peak and landed back-to-back Lingfield handicaps (both heavy) last winter. Well held both starts this term, though.
Plumpton winner in the mud for Mick Channon last season. Positive start for new yard when 10 lengths third at Doncaster over Christmas. Claims if he can build on that now (not most consistent).
Just the one victory for Gordon Elliott but in good nick for new yard and he returned after 10 months off with encouraging third in 2m4f handicap at Ayr. Respected. Engaged 3.00 Musselburgh Friday.
Useful in his pomp but not the same force nowadays and well below his best this term. Mark is plummeting but it's still probably best to look elsewhere.
Back to form to take advantage of reduced mark on debut for this yard at Ayr (2m, heavy) last month. Perhaps found the run coming too soon when only seventh at Sedgefield 8 days later.
Sedgefield winner last winter and right back on his game when runner-up at Carlisle in November. Obvious player from the same mark with his yard among the winners.

Forecasts
Fearless (9/4), Nefyn Point (3/1), Serious Ego (5/1), Imperial Acolyte (13/2), Jayaaah (9/1), Poucor (14/1), Aristo Du Plessis (14/1), Crackdeloust (20/1), Tawseef (25/1), Ruacana (50/1)
NEFYN POINT was a good second off this mark at Carlisle when last seen 12 weeks ago so he gets the nod with the Donald McCain team in form. Nicky Richards has opted to come here with Serious Ego rather than Musselburgh on Friday and he heads up the dangers along with Ffos Las winner Imperial Acolyte and the unexposed Fearless.

- SERIOUS EGO (GER)
