Second in a bumper on debut here last term and stepped up on low-key hurdles bow when fourth in a 9-runner Hexham novice (16.2f) in December. However, more needed now handicapping over a new trip.

£100,000 buy after getting off the mark in Irish points at the second attempt but yet to measure up to expectations over in this sphere. Still, she appeals as the type to do better now handicapping.
|
Bumper/mares' novice hurdle winner who looked rusty returning from 9 months off when fourth at Kelso. Failed to build on that next time, but eased 5 lb as a result and moving back up in trip may help.
|
Fair winner on Flat in France in 2019, but yet to make a serious impact over hurdles and significant step forward needed now pitched into a handicap and upped in trip.

Not at his best in 2 starts so far this season, but she's now 2 lb lower than when winning this race 12 months ago and a bold show may well be on the cards. Cheekpieces refitted.

Third sole start in Irish points in December 2018, but she's another who has yet to make an impact over hurdles and needs to improve considerably now upped in trip for this handicap debut.

Bounced back in this headgear combination when striking at Sedgefield (21f) in November. Followed up over 16.8f there a week later but another personal best needed up a further 6 lb.
|
Showed more spark than in 3 previous starts over hurdles when fifth in a 12-runner Newcastle maiden (20.3f) in November. However, failed to progress on subsequent handicap bow and bit to prove now.
|
Poor maiden on Flat for Alan Brown and well held all 4 starts over hurdles for this yard, including on handicap bow last time.
|
Didn't shape at all badly back from a lengthy layoff on debut for new yard at Hexham in November, but step in the wrong direction back there the following month.

Forecasts
Timeless Beauty (7/2), On We Go (4/1), Love At Dawn (11/2), Paper Promise (11/2), Hot Gossip (13/2), Charm Offensive (15/2), Sinndarella (9/1), Orient Sunset (16/1), Shanbally Rose (25/1), Silken Moonlight (80/1)
It may be worth chancing PAPER PROMISE, who misfired at Musselburgh last time but there are positives to glean from her reappearance effort and the combination of this career-low mark and this step back up in trip add to her appeal. Last year's winner On We Go rates the main danger, while Timeless Beauty may have more to offer now making the switch to a handicap.
