Off time: 15:01 | Winning time: 5m 6.15s

Belle De Manech^t¹⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Rex Dingle| T: A J Honeyball| OR: 120

13/8

Regressed in bumpers after a successful debut, but back on track over hurdles this season, landing 16-runner mares' novice at Wincanton (15.3f) on Boxing Day. Lead player under a penalty.

Form: 1627-41

Midnight Ginger⁴⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-4| J: Alexander Thorne⁽⁵⁾| T: A King

10/3

Bumper winner who scored convincingly on hurdling debut in a Fakenham mares' novice (2m) in November. Pulled up in a much stronger affair at Newbury but far too soon to be writing her off.

Form: 14-1P

Allavina²⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Aidan Coleman| T: O Murphy

11/8

Fairly useful bumper winner who showed clear aptitude for this job when second in a mares' maiden at Fakenham (2m) last month. No reason why she won't take a step forward from that.

Form: 31-42

Ashley Hollow³²³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Reed⁽³⁾| T: N P Mulholland

150/1

Well held in bumper/pair of novice events last season and she's a likely longer-term project for low-grade handicaps.

Form: 000-

Boomtime Banker⁶⁹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: Kielan Woods| T: D J Jeffreys| OR: 47

150/1

Picked up for £30,000 after scoring between the flags in October 2019, but has offered little in a trio of novice hurdles and she's readily passed over again here.

Form: PF190-0

Getaway Suzy¹⁴

Age: 8| Weight: 10-12| J: M G Nolan| T: Miss S Smith

150/1

Big prices and little to shout about either start over hurdles to date.

Form: F4/0P

Rock On Rita⁶⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 10-12| J: T Scudamore| T: N P Mulholland

8/1

£30,000 4-y-o. Dam 2m chase winner (stayed 19f), half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/top-class chaser (2m/17f winner) Lake Kariba. Won sole start in Irish points (Nov 8). Market should guide.

Form: 1

Sumtime⁶⁰³

Age: 6| Weight: 10-12| J: Nathan Rahman⁽⁷⁾| T: J W Mullins

80/1

Offered little when sixth of 7 in bumper at Warwick (16f, good) on NH debut bck in spring 2019 and she's best watched on belated return now tackling timber.

Form: 6-

Tranquil Dawn^t1⁶³

Age: 7| Weight: 10-12| J: James Best| T: F Brennan

66/1

First worthwhile form when fourth in small-field novice at Taunton (19f) in November but needs to improve another chunk to trouble a couple of these.

Form: P35-664

Non-Runners

Glasha's Peak³⁷

Weight: 10-12| Age: 7

Forecasts

Allavina (11/8), Belle De Manech (13/8), Midnight Ginger (10/3), Glasha's Peak (11/2), Rock On Rita (8/1), Tranquil Dawn (66/1), Sumtime (80/1), Boomtime Banker (150/1), Ashley Hollow (150/1), Getaway Suzy (150/1)

BELLE DE MANECH didn't progress in bumpers but has got back on track over hurdles this term, off the mark in good style at Wincanton on Boxing Day. She gets the nod to defy a penalty with improvement likely. Midnight Ginger will find this easier than her Newbury assignment and is feared, along with Allavina.
