Dusky Lark^p³⁸

Age: 11| Weight: 11-10| J: T J O'Brien| T: R Walford| OR: 123

10/1

Veteran who probably needed the run after 21 months off (easy to back) when a well-beaten second at Exeter following a breathing operation last month. Yard also saddles Flagrant Delitiep.

Form: U6227/2

Orrisdale³⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-8| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 121

4/1

Bumper/hurdles winner who matched pick of his form when fourth in a novices' handicap chase at Wetherby (3m) last month. 1 lb lower now and needs considering from an each-way perspective.

Form: 1/123-B4

Flagrant Delitiep²⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Aidan Coleman| T: R Walford| OR: 121

5/4

Showed plenty of ability over hurdles and impressed when making it third time lucky in this sphere at Wincanton (2½m). Remains open to improvement and this 9 lb higher mark should be within reach.

Form: 322-421

Rosmuc Relay^v⁵⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-7| J: T Scudamore| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 120| D

14/1

Dual hurdles winner who left tame chase debut behind when runner-up at Hereford last March. Beaten when unseating 3 out on return at Uttoxeter (3¼m), but this drop back in trip should help.

Form: 11P/52-P

Subcontinent²⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: Charlie Deutsch| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 118| D

15/2

Fairly useful 21f hurdles winner who matched that form over fences on return when runner-up at Bangor. However, failed to build on that over this C&D next time and needs to raise his game.

Form: 6/414-24

Volcano^p,t³²

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: Ben Jones⁽³⁾| T: Sheila Lewis| OR: 117

9/2

Form: 5-52311

Last Encounter³⁷

Age: 11| Weight: 10-13| J: Jordan Nailor⁽⁵⁾| T: S-J Davies| OR: 112

125/1

Sole career success came back in 2015 and effort on debut for this yard at Chepstow in December was hardly inspiring.

Form: 53-F3FP

Non-Runners

Brianstorm¹

Weight: 11-5| Age: 9

T: Miss V Williams J: Non Runner

Forecasts

Flagrant Delitiep (5/4), Orrisdale (4/1), Volcano (9/2), Brianstorm (13/2), Subcontinent (15/2), Dusky Lark (10/1), Rosmuc Relay (14/1), Kapgarry (28/1), Last Encounter (125/1)

Impressive when opening his chase account at Wincanton last time, FLAGRANT DELITIEP should have more to offer in this sphere and a 9 lb rise in the weights is unlikely to stop him. The hat-trick seeking Volcano is next on the list ahead of Orrisdale.
