Age: 10| Weight: 11-12| J: Jonjo O'Neill Jr.| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 127| CD

9/2

Built on his promising return at the third attempt when enhancing good record here in January. Soon back on track after Exeter flop when runner-up 24 days ago and looks to have leading claims here.

Form: 142-3P2

Gardefort²¹

Age: 12| Weight: 11-9| J: R T Dunne| T: Miss V Williams| OR: 124| CD

4/1

Lightly raced and patchy form in recent years but showed he retains plenty of ability after 20 months off when runner-up at Ascot 3 weeks ago. Should come on from that and may prove tough to beat.

Form: PUP2/P-2

Zalvados^p,t²¹

13/2

Frustrating sort who shaped as if retaining all ability after 20 months off when third of 7 in handicap chase at Newcastle (16.3f, soft) 3 weeks ago. That may have been needed and he should go well.

Form: 22728/3

Forecasts

Glajou (9/4), Gardefort (4/1), Molineaux (9/2), Dandolo Du Gite (11/2), Zalvados (13/2), Jackson Hill (7/1), Royal Plaza (80/1)

This can go to GARDEFORT, who shaped as if he retained plenty of ability after 20 months off when finishing runner-up at Ascot 3 weeks ago and should come on from that down in grade here. Glajou is well worth another chance, with Molineaux another to consider having got back on track at Ludlow last month.
