Busy Street⁴⁵

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: Nathan Moscrop⁽³⁾| T: R Menzies| CD

5/2

Formerly useful on the Flat and, though yet to really fire over hurdles, his stable has a good record in these events, so not without a chance.

Form: 4/933

Daranova²³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: D C Costello| T: D Loughnane

4/1

Fair maiden in bumpers but went backwards from a reasonable start to hurdling and was pulled up on first chase outing last time. Hard to fancy.

Form: 74-255P

Happy Hollow¹²

Age: 9| Weight: 11-5| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Candlish| D

6/4

Unbeaten in 3 bumpers in 2016. Off a long time after but has shown he retains ability over hurdles this season. One to consider.

Form: 111/332

Jack Yeats⁸²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Sam Coltherd⁽³⁾| T: W Coltherd| BF

9/1

Fairly useful on Flat for Aidan O'Brien and made promising start to hurdling career (for John Halley) when third at Limerick last summer. Disappointing on debut for current stable, so bit to prove.

Form: 35

Little Orange⁴⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-5| J: Callum Bewley| T: S Waugh

150/1

Has shown nothing over hurdles, so most unlikely to feature in this.

Form: 885

Passnotalegend⁷⁵

Age: 8| Weight: 11-5| J: William Shanahan⁽⁷⁾| T: S Waugh

33/1

Winning pointer who has shown fair form in a couple of goes over hurdles but will likely come up short in this.

Form: 41/2-53

I'm Easy^b1¹³

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: Nick Barratt-Atkin⁽¹⁰⁾| T: M & D Easterby

12/1

Has looked limited in various company to this point.

Form: 559P

Monash^h1³²

Age: 4| Weight: 10-7| J: C O'Farrell| T: R MenziesWS

20/1

Fair maiden up to 1m on the level for Ed Walker but has shaped like a non-stayer so far over hurdles. Unlikely to get home.

Form: 7P

Forecasts

Happy Hollow (6/4), Moon King (7/4), Busy Street (5/2), Rayna's World (3/1), Daranova (4/1), Jack Yeats (9/1), I'm Easy (12/1), Kangaroo Valley (14/1), Monash (20/1), Pennine Cross (20/1), Passnotalegend (33/1), Stitch Up (33/1), Arcanja (100/1), Little Orange (150/1)

MOON KING opened his account over hurdles at the third attempt recently and, given his Flat background (useful sort), he should relish this sort of test, so he gets the nod ahead of the likeable Rayna's World, with Busy Street another one to consider for a yard that did well in these races last year.
