4/9

€40,000 3-y-o, £70,000 4-y-o, Getaway gelding. Irish point winner who justified support to make a winning start under Rules in similar event at Musselburgh 2 months ago. Can defy a penalty.

Form: 1-1

Bizerta⁴⁵⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: R T Dunne| T: S Allwood

40/1

Fairly useful form when twice second from 3 starts on Flat in France in 2019 (unraced for 14 months during which he left Andre Fabre for £10,000).

Form:

Hey Blondie^h²¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Joe Colliver| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 69

300/1

Looks very limited on early evidence.

Form: P007

Jayaaah²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Ryan Mania| T: J Parkinson & S Smith

3/1

Bred to make a jumper and promise when runner-up first 2 starts in bumpers. Clear of the rest when beaten only by a good prospect on hurdles bow at Carlisle and should progress. Big player.

Form: 224-2

Kildimo⁶⁰⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-2| J: Kielan Woods| T: D J Jeffreys

16/1

€25,000 3-y-o, £50,000 4-y-o, Stowaway gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to fairly useful hurdler/useful chaser (stayed 3m) Banasan. Third both starts in Irish points in early-2019.

Form: 3/3-

Mickyh²⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Alan Johns| T: Tim Vaughan

150/1

Decent NH pedigree but was tailed off in a novice at Sandown on hurdling debut, so hard to fancy on the back of that.

Form: 4

Tuff McCool^t¹⁶⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Aaron Anderson⁽⁷⁾| T: J Bedi

250/1

Pulled up sole start in points and well held in bumper at Limerick for Patrick Kelly.

Form: P-9

Reassurance⁴⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 10-9| J: Ross Chapman| T: D Brooke| D

50/1

Fair stayer on Flat, won twice in 2020. Showed an aptitude for hurdling in cheekpieces when third at Hexham but well beaten twice since (back on the level latest).

Form: 39

Tonyx^h1¹⁰⁶

Age: 5| Weight: 10-9| J: J M Quinlan| T: Miss A Murphy

11/2

Fairly useful winner on the Flat for Ed Walker so warrants respect now going hurdling.

Form:

Forecasts

Bareback Jack (4/9), Jayaaah (3/1), Tonyx (11/2), Kildimo (16/1), Bizerta (40/1), Reassurance (50/1), Mickyh (150/1), Tuff McCool (250/1), Hey Blondie (300/1)

BAREBACK JACK justified late support when making a winning hurdling bow at Musselburgh and that form is working out well. He's taken to defy a penalty at the main expense of Jayaaah, who showed plenty of promise when runner-up at Carlisle. Tonyx and Bizerta were both fairly useful on the level so need keeping an eye on.
