Fairly useful winning hurdler (2-5 in that sphere) and best effort yet over fences when a clear second in a good Newcastle handicap (23.4f) last time. Still, this demands a significant step forward.

Verdict

DEMACHINE has looked good in his 2 starts over fences, landing competitive handicaps at Uttoxeter and Ascot, and is taken to make it 3-3 in this sphere. He won't have things all his own way though, as Remastered also made a positive start to his chase career at Carlisle and is open to improvement. Baron de Midleton is not short of ability but he lacks the potential of his 2 rivals.
