Strong Resemblance^p⁴³⁴

Age: 9| Weight: 11-8| J: Ross Turner⁽⁵⁾| T: O Greenall & J Guerriero| OR: 117| CD

14/1

Did very well for this yard last term, winning 4 times (3 hurdle, 1 chase). Respectable third over hurdles at Hereford on return and entitled to come on for that back over fences.

Form: 21135/3-

Eclair De Guye^p²⁷

Age: 6| Weight: 11-7| J: Bryony Le Clerc| T: L Wadham| OR: 116| BF| D

6/1

Ended last campaign with a win and looked better than ever after a breathing operation when second at Fontwell on return. Ran no sort of race at Hereford since, however.

Form: 6P51-2P

Mister Murchan¹⁸

Age: 7| Weight: 11-4| J: James Davies| T: R Rowe| OR: 113| D

9/4

Fair hurdler who made winning return in 21f handicap chase at Fontwell on debut over fences. Creditable fourth from 3 lb out of handicap at Sandown next time and should go well racing off proper mark.

Form: 123-814

Pemberley³⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: Ben Jones⁽³⁾| T: Miss E C Lavelle| OR: 112

9/2

Landed 16-runner handicap hurdle at Hereford (19.7) last season. Held form well thereafter and creditable third at Fontwell on chase bow/return. Open to progress.

Forecasts

Mister Murchan (9/4), Pemberley (9/2), Eclair De Guye (6/1), Thomas Shelby (13/2), His Dream (7/1), Hes No Trouble (9/1), Waikiki Waves (11/1), Strong Resemblance (14/1), Mercers Court (25/1)

MISTER MURCHAN has made a positive start over fences and should go well again racing off his proper mark this time. Wakiki Waves confirmed the promise of his previous run to score at Leicester last month and is another to consider, while Pemberley was a creditable third on his chase debut at Fontwell and should come on for that.
