Built on earlier promise when opening account in a handicap hurdle at Market Rasen in November. Backed out of it as if something was amiss at Chepstow but not one to write off.

Course regular who won this race in 2018 and added to his tally in selling event last term. Not at his best both starts this season but is back on a potentially lenient mark with blinkers refitted.

Fair maiden hurdler at best but has lost her way badly since returning to action in September, so good deal to prove on first start for new handler.

Lightly-raced maiden who posted a career best on just her second handicap start when third at Huntingdon (25f) in October, seeming suited by the longer trip. May do better still.

Landed gamble on yard debut at Plumpton last autumn and has found only one too good both starts this term, posting a career best at Market Rasen last time. High on the shortlist.

Forecasts

Jonjoela (7/4), Eva's Diva (4/1), Piggy Winkle (9/2), Perfect Moment (6/1), Made For You (17/2), Always Able (9/1), Todd (11/1), Juge Et Parti (14/1), Lisronagh Stone (40/1), Hit The Bottle (50/1)

Verdict

TODD hasn't been at his best both starts this season but he won this race from 1 lb higher in 2018 and looks interesting with the blinkers refitted, so a bounce back wouldn't surprise. Jonjoela may have more to come for her current yard so she's very much respected, along with Always Able, who is still unexposed.
