Little impact in trio of C&D novice hurdles during the summer and similar story on the Flat of late. Mark for handicap debut in this sphere is no gift either.

Second twice over hurdles in France, but yet to reproduce that level of form on this side of the Channel. Cheekpieces refitted.

Returned to form when third in a 13-runner C&D handicap off this career-low mark in October. Reproduction of that would give her an each-way chance, but she doesn't boast a particularly solid profile.

Dual AW Flat winner who stepped up on form shown in novice company when fourth on handicap debut in this sphere at Hereford last month. However, ran out at Leicester since and she's passed over here.

Half-brother to Champion Hurdle winner Epatante. Initial hurdles efforts were inauspicious, but showed more spark at Chepstow (2m) last time and likely improver now handicapping. Tongue strap added.

Winless following 8 attempts under Rules, but posted best effort yet when going close in a big-field Exeter handicap (18.5f) a fortnight ago. Each-way claims if able to build on that.

Added to last month's Ffos Las breakthrough success when narrowly prevailing at Bangor (16.7f). Escapes a penalty for that (albeit 3 lb higher here) and more needed in order to complete the hat-trick.

Modest stayer on Flat for Ed De Giles and, having changed hands for just £800 last winter, she's failed to shine in 3 starts over hurdles.

Cost £58,000 as a 3-y-o. No show in a couple of novice events last season, but shaped better than distance beaten on return at Chepstow (2m) and he's the type to do better now handicapping.

Forecasts

Fanfaron Dino (15/8), Ragamuffin (9/4), Flutiste (3/1), Let's Getaway (11/1), Hurricane Ali (18/1), Cape Fair (25/1), Ingenuity (25/1), Jawshan (25/1), White Turf (33/1), Tarrona (40/1), Telekinetic (40/1), Lucou (50/1), Sweetest Smile (66/1), Temur Khan (80/1)

Verdict

The one with striking potential is undoubtedly FANFARON DINO, who showed plenty when runner-up in a bumper on debut last December and he stepped up on previous efforts in this sphere when fourth on return at Chepstow. He is in good hands and makes his handicap bow off a potentially very handy mark. Let's Getaway may also do better now pitched into a handicap and is next best ahead of Ragamuffin.
