Big-money buy after winning Irish point and off the mark at the third attempt over hurdles in novice at Chepstow 11 months ago. Probably needed run on chase bow last month so likely to be in the mix.
Useful hurdler who has been lightly raced over fences, strictly running below his best when third at Exeter (3m) last month. Others make greater appeal on this occasion.
Won 3 small-field novice hurdles in the early stages of last season. Not straightforward, though did run well after 7 month off when third at Newton Abbot in October. Switches back over fences.
Good Cheltenham track record and ran a lot better than on his return when fourth there 33 days ago. Likely to come on a bit more from that but hasn't made much of a splash over fences so far.

Tobefair (2/1), Red River (5/2), Fado Des Brosses (10/3), Sunset Showdown (7/2), The Mulcair (9/2)
Irish point winner FADO DES BROSSES gets the vote to step up on his chasing debut effort having been undone by a few mistakes at Exeter last month. He's got the background of a better chaser than hurdler and should prove the point before long. Tobefair should do well over fences given his hurdling ability, but he needs to show a lot more than when last tried in the sphere.
