Modest gelding. First run since leaving N. Clement when fifth of 8 in minor event at this C&D (28/1) on UK debut 14 days ago, merely passing beaten rivals. Very hard to make a case for.

Forecasts

Waldfabel (6/4), Green Planet (2/1), Aureum (11/4), Calculus (18/1), Star Dreamer (33/1), Minster (100/1)

Verdict

GREEN PLANET is difficult to oppose after his second at Wolverhampton last month knowing he has race fitness on his side unlike a couple of his rivals. The John Gosden pair Waldfabel and Aureum look the best alternatives but both are returning from breaks so David Simcock's gelding is favoured.

  1. GREEN PLANET (IRE)
  2. WALDFABEL
  3. AUREUM (USA)
