Butchered rivals with a superb jumping display at Uttoxeter on return in July and back to form when second at Cheltenham in October. Fell at the second at Newbury since.
Winner of all 3 completed starts in this sphere last season, seeing off 8 rivals in 16.4f Newbury handicap when last seen in February. 7 lb rise fair and remains open to improvement over fences.
Veteran who's not the force of old but his mark reflects that and ran well when third at Aintree on return. Respected off same mark.
Improved model over fences last season, rattling off a hat-trick over 2m at Newbury. Aintree second on return last month akin to his best form but let down by jumping in headgear next time.
Still searching for a first win over fences but ran another fine race when third of 11 in handicap chase at Wetherby (15.2f) on return. Not well placed at Chepstow since.
Win at Sedgefield in January was a career best and only 3 lb higher now. Fit from hurdling but ideally wants a bit further.
Stepped up markedly on chase debut when readily winning 2m Warwick event 12 months ago. Some way below his best at Aintree on return (strong in betting), his jumping letting him down. Headgear on.
Confirmed promise of return when capitalising on 2 lb lower mark at Southwell (15.8f) in August but recent efforts suggest he's gone off the boil.

Forecasts
Vado Forte (4/1), Defi Sacre (4/1), Solar Impulse (6/1), Billingsley (6/1), Duke Of Navan (13/2), Rough Night (13/2), Instant Replay (9/1), Western Miller (11/1)
BILLINGSLEY took very well to fences last season, winning all 3 of his completed starts, and should have more to offer in this sphere. Defi Sacre was let down by his jumping in first-time headgear at Newbury but is worth another chance given his progress prior to that, while Western Miller is respected back down in class.
