Happygolucky²⁴

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: David Bass| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls| OR: 142| BF

13/8

Made up into a useful novice hurdler last term and one to keep on side judged on his comfortable return/chase debut success at Stratford. Failed to progress at Fakenham but remains with potential.

Form: 1334-12

L'Air Du Vent^t¹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: R M Power| T: C L Tizzard| OR: 137

10/3

Ex-pointer who drew a blank over hurdles but improved to make it second time lucky over fences when winning novice chase at Exeter (24.2f, heavy, 2/1) 19 days ago. Likely to progress again.

Form: 1/375-31

The Mighty Don¹⁹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-6| J: James Davies| T: N J Gifford| OR: 140| C

8/1

Talented sort who has never looked a natural over fences but stayed on well to get the better of Enrilo at Chepstow on reappearance. Probably matched that at Exeter next time but looks vulnerable.

Form: 4FF0-13

Fabulous Saga^t¹⁰⁰¹

Age: 8| Weight: 11-1| J: Harry Cobden| T: P F Nicholls| OR: 140WS

13/2

Useful hurdler for Willie Mullins who ran well when seventh in Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham in 2018. Undergone wind surgery ahead of yard/chasing bow and he's interesting after nearly 3 years off.

Form: 231177/

Hold The Note^v1¹³

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: T Scudamore| T: M R Channon| OR: 143

10/3

Quickly made up into a smart novice chaser last term but he's still winless in this discipline and was again below his best in John Francome Novices' Chase at Newbury. Visor on but others preferred.

Form: 3P23-44

Happygolucky (13/8), Hold The Note (10/3), L'Air Du Vent (10/3), Fabulous Saga (13/2), The Mighty Don (8/1)

HAPPYGOLUCKY let odds-on backers down at Fakenham last month, seeming unsuited by the sharp track. This step up in trip looks sure to suit and he gets the nod to double his tally over the larger obstacles having scored on his chase debut/return. L'Air du Vent is taken to chase him home after his recent victory, with Fabulous Saga another interesting runner returning from a lengthy absence.
