Paricolor^b,t¹¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-10| J: Fergus Gillard⁽⁵⁾| T: D Pipe| OR: 119| D

10/11

Well placed to win a brace of selling contests at Leicester last month, latterly taking advantage of a below-par Chef de Troupe a fortnight ago. Looks the way to go again.

Form: F56511

Dark Storm^t1²⁴

Age: 4| Weight: 10-12| J: Harry Kimber⁽⁷⁾| T: W G M Turner| OR: 93

Modest in bumpers and hasn't fared much better in 4 runs over hurdles. Cheekpieces enlisted for handicap debut last time replaced with a tongue tie.

Showed some ability when fourth in a Ludlow bumper (15.7f) in October. Acquired for just £3,000 by new yard thereafter and failed to repeat opening hurdles effort at Lingfield a fortnight ago.

Form: P-439

Well held in a point and looks to possesses more temperament than ability.

Forecasts

Paricolor (10/11), Chef De Troupe (11/10), Espion De Saflo (8/1), Larch Hill (10/1), Keepscalling (20/1), Dark Storm (40/1), Berboru (50/1), Valentines Jewel (250/1)

This will likely develop into a match between PARICOLOR and Chef de Troupe. The latter was disappointing when failing to land the odds behind the former at Leicester a fortnight ago and David Pipe's 4-y-o now looks a safer conveyance to come out on top again.
