Three-time winner over hurdles for Dan Skelton, but hasn't shown much of his old spark in various race-types for current yard.

Off the mark over fences in emphatic style when 18 lengths too good for Brotherly Company here (20.3f) last month. Added to his tally at Catterick recently and this trip should be within range.

Well-backed ahead of wide-margin Southwell (20.4f) victory on debut for new yard in August. Beaten 18 lengths by Armattiekan here last time, but 19 lb better off with that rival now.

Bang there when falling at the last on most recent start chase at Perth, but that was his third non-completion from 5 runs in this sphere and subsequent efforts over hurdles have lacked spark.

Game winner from the front over hurdles at this course (19.8f) in January. However, beaten 25 lengths in race won by Armattiekan here on chase debut and not sure that going back up in trip will help.

Forecasts

Brotherly Company (13/8), Galileo Silver (7/4), Armattiekan (2/1), Not The Chablis (11/4), Emirat De Catana (10/1), Wynford (66/1)

Verdict

Though GALILEO SILVER is the only one of these without the benefit of experience in this sphere, these fences are not the most intimidating and a winning chase debut could be on the cards for this 5-y-o, who has improved over hurdles in recent months. Brotherly Company is significantly better off at the weights with Armattiekan compared to when they met here last month and is second choice.

  1. GALILEO SILVER (IRE)
  2. BROTHERLY COMPANY (IRE)
  3. ARMATTIEKAN (IRE)
