A chance is taken on KOEMAN, who has made the frame in all but one of his eight starts on the all-weather. Mick Channon's charge was 5 lengths adrift of Sam Cooke at Ascot in July, but he was returning from a 5-month break that day and, moreover, meets that rival on 7 lb better terms here. Sam Cooke is feared most all the same, while The Trader also enters calculations.
