Blue Hussar²⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-12| J: Billy Garritty⁽³⁾| T: Micky Hammond| OR: 114| C

5/1

Course winner who was pulled up in 2m York handicap on Flat in September and produces a laboured effort back hurdling at Kelso a month ago. This does at least represent a drop in class.

Form: 4/3516-6

Dalaman^b,t³⁹

Age: 9| Weight: 11-10| J: Mr Peter Bryan⁽⁷⁾| T: Miss R Curtis| OR: 112| C

7/1

Fitting of blinkers did the trick when opening account for this yard in 10-runner handicap at Bangor (23f) in October. Raised 10 lb and not an obvious follow-up contender given profile.

Form: P/444-61

He's A Goer⁵¹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-9| J: Philip Armson⁽⁷⁾| T: B Leavy| OR: 111

40/1

Very likely needed the run on October's return from 13 months off but even so, still didn't achieve enough to make him of interest.

Form: 623/06-0

Presence Felt^t⁶

Age: 12| Weight: 11-6| J: Mr John Dixon⁽⁷⁾| T: J E Dixon| OR: 108| CD

9/1

Winless since 2018 but still plenty of zest about him despite advancing years judged on latest third in a first-time tongue strap at Carlisle last week.

Form: 682-003

All Hail Caesar^p¹⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 11-6| J: Nathan Moscrop⁽³⁾| T: R Menzies| OR: 108

3/1

Signed off last season by landing an 11-runner Newcastle bumper in February. Needed reappearance and stepped up on that in first-time cheekpieces when third over 25f at Catterick 2 weeks ago.

Form: 3441-03

Court Baloo^p²⁸

Age: 9| Weight: 11-4| J: Ross Chapman| T: A C Whillans| OR: 106| D

18/1

Scored at Hexham in September but that very much a stand out effort this season, dropping away at Kelso a month ago.

Form: 2-791P7

March Is On^p⁴⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 11-3| J: W T Kennedy| T: J & A O'Neill| OR: 105| D

9/2

Winning hurdler but ended 2019/20 out of sorts and has fared little better in 2 outings this term, (chase first occasion).

Form: 4707-86

Blaster Yeats¹⁷

Age: 5| Weight: 11-0| J: Sean Quinlan| T: J Parkinson & S Smith| OR: 102

10/3

Lightly-raced maiden hurdler who offered a bit more when fourth over an inadequate 2m at Hexham 17 days ago. Upped markedly in trip and he's more interesting than most.

Form: 432-784

Non-Runners

Tyrell⁶⁹⁸

Weight: 11-10| Age: 7

T: L Bailey J: Non Runner

Scoop The Pot¹¹

Weight: 11-1| Age: 10

T: B Haslam J: Alain Cawley

Forecasts

All Hail Caesar (3/1), Blaster Yeats (10/3), March Is On (9/2), Blue Hussar (5/1), Dalaman (7/1), Scoop The Pot (8/1), Presence Felt (9/1), Court Baloo (18/1), Tyrell (25/1), He's A Goer (40/1)

ALL HAIL CAESAR reacted pretty well to first-time cheekpieces when third at Catterick a fortnight ago and unexposed over 3m, he could be the way to go. Blaster Yeats has a bigger performance in him and is feared most up in trip, with Dalaman a player if blinkers work again.
