Fairly useful chaser who made a winning return at Warwick but seemed undone by a rise when fourth at Kempton next time. Easily excused latest effort (badly hampered) and can bounce back here.
Fairly useful hurdle winner who landed 20f Uttoxeter handicap chase in August and got back on track after 11 weeks off when third of 9 in handicap chase (5/1) at Kempton 18 days ago. Leading player.
Back on the up during spring/summer of 2019, but lost his way during the winter and below par in 4 starts since returning from a break in July.
Successful off 7 lb higher at Kelso (17f) last September. Best effort since when fourth at Wetherby in October and he's one to keep an eye on in the market taking a definite drop in grade here.
Returned after wind op/7 months off with career-best win in 17f handicap chase at Kelso in September but added to patchy record when tailed off last over timber at Musselburgh 23 days ago.
Back to form to take advantage of a reduced mark at Kelso last month but rather predictably, not in same from there a fortnight later. Likely to struggle once again from same mark.
Improved perfomer of later, landing a 6-runner Plumpton handicap (17f, good to firm) before a pair of good seconds in recent weeks. Must be respected for in-form yard.
Sedgefield bumper/novice hurdle winner who made a fairly promising start over fences there this term. However, seemed to lose his confidence at Carlisle last time and cheekpieces are now applied.

Forecasts
Yccs Portocervo (11/4), Theflyingportrait (7/2), Carolines Charm (4/1), Jaboticaba (5/1), Lake Takapuna (11/1), Monsieur Co (11/1), Double W's (12/1), Honourary Gift (33/1)
YCCS PORTOCERVO got back on track 11 weeks on from his Cartmel blip when third at Kempton earlier this month. He should come on from that, and looks to hold leading claims as his mark eases a touch. Theflyingportrait was in the mix for a long way at Aintree last time so heads up the dangers having been successful from a 7 lb higher mark last year, with Carolines Charm another to consider.
